This site originally started out as a control panel for me to work with submitting Japanese and English sites to Japanese search engines. It really helped in keeping things organized. Later as I acquired more information and experience working with larger companies, I decided to expand this site to provide an affordable SEO service to those interested in having their sites indexed on both Japanese and US search engines. Japanese Keyword Tools:
Here are some very good keyword tools from Google and Overture that will allow you to get a pretty good listing of keywords in Japanese.

Japanese Search Engine Submission:
Here are some direct links to some Japanese search engines for manual site submission. Submitting your site manually is about the best thing you can possible do. If you have trouble with this, you can sign up for my SEO package which includes manual submissions to all these search engines.

Please note with Yahoo Japan you need to drill down into the category you wish to submit your site to first. The above link will explain this in Japanese. However, if you find the category you wish to submit your site to, you will then be prompted with a form to fill out. The form is Japanese only.

To submit a site under Looksmart express service, you have to pay around 26,250 yen. It's quite expensive and unless you have direct competitors in there you may be better off with Google and Yahoo. Although Looksmart boasts to be the best, hardly any of my colleagues use it. The reason is that many can't afford to submit there, so you are not really going to find that many sites.

You will notice that Excite Japan uses Google Japan for site submission.
Goo - Same as Google. This is a very popular search engine.

- Website Analysis - Click tracks
- Total Optimizer Pro - Great software! I use the new version 2.0 which has a great new manual site submission feature. This is probably the best tool to analyze your competition and implement the same for your site. I highly recommmend this for search engine optimization competition. It also works great for Japanese sites.
- Keyword Selection Tool - Great and very affordable unique pricing plan.
- Webceo - Excellent all around package that we use regularly.
- Advanced Web Ranking - Search engine ranking software helping webmasters check their website position
on all major search engines. We use this one too.
- SEOelite - Excellent and probably the best backlink analyzing seo software available. I use this a lot!!
- Digital Point Tools - Very popular and often recommended on most of the forums sites listed here. Most of these tools are free too!

- W3C - Check how your website fairs with WC3 web standards and guidelines.
- URL Trends - The best SEO tool for tracking your website
- Similarity Analyzer - Most search engines make comparisons between web pages to filter out pages with
too much similar or identical texts from search results. This similarity analyzer tool compares two web pages and it calculates some
statistics about their HTML code similarity and their text similarity.
